The Leisure
Enjoy various leisure activities around Belle Air Lodge.
The changing country in the tourist region of the Vienna Alps is known for its various lei-sure activities. In and around Mönichkirchen there are numerous possibilities.

Sunshine
Summer
Numerous marked hiking routes lead directly from the Belle Air Lodge to the Mönichkirchner Schwaig and the Hochwechsel.
Cycling excursions to and from Mönichkirchen are also possible. A section of the well-known EUROVELO 9 cycle path leads directly through the village. In Mönichkirchen itself, the mountain railroad awaits you, taking you to the Erlebnisalm with its scooter and mountain cart track, swing trail and circular hiking trails. In the neighboring municipality of St. Corona, the so-called Wexl trails are available for young and old cycling enthusiasts. There is also an ant trail, a motor skills park and the popular summer toboggan run.
Snow experience
Winter
Skiers, snowboarders, ski tourers and cross-country skiers get their money’s worth here in winter.
Whether beginner or pro: the Mönichkirchen ski area offers 10 perfectly groomed slopes and 13.5 kilometers of pistes, making it easy to get started and providing the best conditions for experts.
In the Mönichkirchen-Mariensee ski area, ski tourers and piste skiers can access all 10 pistes free of charge every Thursday after the lifts close until 8:30 pm. With a length of around 60 kilometers, the Wechsel-Panoramaloipe is the top address for cross-country skiers in the Viennese Alps. Unlike some shady trails in the valley basin, it runs continuously at over 1,000 meters above sea level along sunny mountain ridges.
